STUDENT'S ABSENCE
Students who have been sick should bring a medical certificate from their doctor on joining the school. A copy of the certificate is to be submitted in the school.
Student, absent for a month, without any written information to the school, will get its name struck off the rolls.
Parents should fill up the "Record for Non-Attendance" for each consecutive day the student is absent from school. Stating the reason for absence.
Students, who require urgent medical attention during school hour, may be sent by the teacher to a hospital under information to parents/guardian.
No student who has been absent on the previous day will be allowed to enter the class without a letter from the parents addressed to the Class Teacher, stating the reasons for the absence.
Leave for going out of station (for Hostel & Day Scholars) should be approved by the Principal prior to proceedings on leave.
In case of emergency-Parents should inform and the student should report to the Principal before going to their classes directly.
A student suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, must observe the prescribed period of quarantine & should produce a doctor's certificate of fitness before returning to school
It is compulsory for the students to complete 80% of the attendance in the academic session to make them eligible to appear for final examination. But class IX, X, XI and XII students must have an average of 90% attendance for appearing in the examination.
